Because Helping is Good!

Justin and I are participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Vegas Style in 2 weeks. What an awesome way to help out millions and possibly someone we might know find a cure to breast cancer.

We both pledged to raise money--such a small amount actually. But we all know every dollar helps! So if you'd like to help us reach our goal, you can go to my donation page OR Justin's donation page.

Thanks everyone!

McDonalds Jumping in with a Bigger Burger

Following in the footsteps of all-time big burgers of Burger King and Carl's Jr., McDonald's is going to test a new bigger burger. To add our increasingly overweight society, they thought they'd give it a try! Heck, make it a 1/3 pound burger. Give us all heart attacks!

A friend reminded me of this site to gross me out even more--supersized meals

Don't you think 28 pancakes is enough?

RoboGeek's Request Filled

Here are the bags. They ended up about 2 inches bigger however they are still pretty light and durable. The green one I had a few problems with the sides so they turned out a bit janky (I'm willing to drop the price for this :) )

Update for ROBOGEEK

Let me know if this is what you are looking for. The pictures helped tons. I'm having a little trouble with curved sides...no big deal. I'll keep working on it but I wanted to show you what I have so far.

This is just a mock up so the stiching is very wide (for easy adjusting) and I haven't added the clasps. It's also 6 inches across the top but tapers some towards the bottom.

I will be adding a clip for the inside (for her keys) as well as the 2 back straps. It will also be interfaced for stability (it's not now because I don't like to waste it :) ) so it will have firmness.

Let me know if you need any changes or likes or dislikes!

Comes changes in your family. Diego and Susy have chronicled themselves over the course of 20 years. It is interesting to see what a year can do to people. It's actually pretty cool to look at and somewhat inspiring.
Fraud Diaries

Once upon a time there was a scammer named Mike Aba or Peter Coal or Obi (Kanobi?)Azuka, well the name doesn't matter. The scammer sent an e-mail to a person hoping to get some help with his finances. He had a lot of money, 75 million to be exact. WOW, that IS a lot of money!

It turns out that the e-mail receiver knew of his scams and decided to play with Mike or Obi or possibly Peter.

This story has adventure, murders, a yellow suit, bad grammer and Captain Kirk. Yes, you don't want to miss Fraud Diaries.

Beloit College Mindset List

Every year, Beloit College develops a list for their professors of the incoming Freshmen. It offers an insight of who the Freshmen are.

#54-They never saw the shuttle Challenger fly.
#2-They don't remember when "cut and paste" involved scissors.

Just a few examples. There are many more here.
This is a list for the class of 2009.

Backpack that powers

How cool would it be to hike in the woods and not worry about batteries? Pretty sweet I'd say. U.S researchers created this backpack that generates power while you are walking; the up and down motion of your hips. It actually produces about 7 watts of electricity, enough to power a GPS unit or even your cell phone. So if your ever in a bind and need to call for help, this backpack could save the day.
