McDonalds Jumping in with a Bigger Burger

Following in the footsteps of all-time big burgers of Burger King and Carl's Jr., McDonald's is going to test a new bigger burger. To add our increasingly overweight society, they thought they'd give it a try! Heck, make it a 1/3 pound burger. Give us all heart attacks!

A friend reminded me of this site to gross me out even more--supersized meals

Don't you think 28 pancakes is enough?

gut rot

there is nothing that sounds more appetizing than a slab of beef. gross! hey, i have my moments when i crave a burger, but not from mcdonald's. my heart screams "heart attack" when i just see the words 'mcdonald's' and '1/3 pound burger'.

Is my math off?

Wouldn't a double quarter pounder still be bigger...?

Right

But they say that it'll be the biggest in their menu. I'm sure this isn't the first time CNN or McDonald's have mis-calculated something.

My second guess would be the before cooked weight. Maybe the Angus weighs more after cooked compared to the double quarter.

Either way, I'm stuffed just thinking about it...and grossed out.
