LEGO Fanatics

Ok, so I'm not sure if you guys like LEGOs, but I know I used to be obsessed with them, and I still like it when people make imaginative things out of them. This site even makes me enjoy the standard out of the box LEGO sets. A couple spent approximately 10 hours putting together the LEGO Star Destroyer kit, and they documented the entire thing via webcam. The webcam was set up to take a picture every so often, and a video was compiled of the stills to create a stop-motion movie that's about 4 minutes long. Yep, you can watch them put it together. 10 hours, I wish I had that kind of dedication...

Love of Lego

Wow, maybe lego can make a come back and be more of the sought after gifts for those geeks that we all are. Totally cool way to mix the web and lego together.

I just noticed their post was Slashdotted today. Their post is 2 years old - I'm flabbergasted that this wasn't picked up by slashdot earlier.

Matt, I'm even a little more intrigued that you posted this last week, we got Slashdotted, then this appears on Slashdot.. Am I jumping to conclusions to say that there's a good chance we are already causing a network effect? No attribution, but really cool nonetheless.

Also noticed that the post Jessi made about Gem Sweater is up on collegehumor this week.

It's probably all coincidence, but damn it's really cool to hear it first on BlogCadre.

Anyway, fantastic post. I practically read their web site cover to cover the other day.
