New powered front wheel for your bike.

Motor powered bike
Can't afford a new scooter, but need to get to work without smelling funny?  This might be the solution.  Its a powered front wheel that you can put on your existing bike.  You can go about 200 miles per gallon of gas and after work, you can pedal back home instead of using up the fuel.  Only problem is that it won't be available until next year.

that's killer! the bike in the pic looks like it's fully suspended too. i wonder how heavy the front end is with the motor up there.

i don't have flash 8 on the machine i'm on. where's the gas tank and how fast does it go? also, i'm curious what the advantage is to placing everything in the front wheel instead of hooking into the rear drive train.

I just checked out the site on a flash enabled laptop. I get it now. It fits in your front wheel with no special modifications. The entire engine is within the wheel and spins around while it's running.

Very cool. I bet it's rough trying to wheelie with 12 pounds hanging off your fork though. Nice thing is you can just switch back your normal wheel when you want to good around.

I hope they come out with a disc brake compatible one. I might like to try one of these.
