In my previous post, I provided a link to an article written by James Fisher, the father of Charlie, the first autistic boy I had ever worked with. Today, I have found an article written by Kristina Chew, Charlie's mom, called An Unexpected Childhood. An autism mom asks: What makes a child perfect?

In the article, Kristina shares her family's experience with autism. Once hoping for a Princeton graduate, her hopes and dreams for Charlie have been rewritten.
