What is Blendie?

Blendie is an interactive, sensitive, intelligent, voice controlled blender with a mind of its own. Materials are a 1950’s Osterizer blender altered with custom made hardware and software for sound analysis and motor control.

By making fluctuating blender sounds, Kelly Dobson can control the speed of the blender.   You can watch Blendie in action and check out the Blendie blueprint.

If you don't think Blendie is as cool as I think it is, you will at least be amused by Kelly growling at a blender.
