Cassia Aparecida de Souza of Brazil is claiming that her cat, Mimi, has given birth to offspring with dog traits. 

Supposedly, Mimi had mated with a neighbor's dog and gave birth to a litter of 6 -- the 3 offspring with more cat-like features died soon after birth.

A geneticist will be taking blood samples to verify this claim.

I'm guessing this is a bunch of malarkey, but what do I know.  I believe a clown fish and rhinoceros can mate.  Heck, even kiwis can pollinate with hamsters.
