Every year between October and December over 150 million Christmas Crabs invade a remote island near Australia to lay eggs on the island's beaches. These crabs infest the entire island and live among the island's inhabitants.
I thought 150 million seemed like a whole hell-of-a-lot of crabs until it was mentioned that each female crab lays 100,000 eggs. Once the eggs hatch the baby red crabs also roam around the island and get into everything.
