While the August 14 post 'Geeks, get girly!' had an overwhelming response, I found it to be a bit sexist in its examination of geek fashion.

Can't girls be geeky as well as fashionable? Would Limor Fried be any less the uber hackette if she were sporting this sexy handbag made from authentic Soyuz mission parachutes? Would tech maven Xeni Jardin be any less witty if she toted her laptop in a designer slim case?

Gentelmen, your reign is over. You can keep your murses and your pocket protectors. Mama's got a brand new bag.
