A Beautiful Scrap Paper Project has an interesting concept:

Over the years I have been saving up the thousands of beautiful scraps from my many projects - and wondering just what to do with them all 'cause they're just too nice to throw away!

125 scrap paper packets have now been packaged up and sent out to makers all around the world.  They have been asked them to create whatever they'd like with their scraps - and then send back their favourties to be re-united here soon in a beautiful scrap paper gallery...

What a cool way to recycle paper!
