A new Rocketboom anchor has supposedly been chosen.  It has been rumored that Andrew Baron has chosen MTV Europe VJ Joanna Colan (who strangely looks like Amanda's identical twin) to take Amanda Congdon's spot.

Rocketboom is scheduled to go live again on Monday, July 10 Tuesday, July 11 at 9 a.m. EDT. 

Update 1 (July 11): New Rocketboom episodes still on hold:

Producing Rocketboom every day is a challenge but nothing has ever been as challenging as what we are going through right now.

Rocketboom was obviously very dependent on Amanda's role. Since she left so suddenly, I have tried to get the episodes up and running as soon as possible, though I am not comfortable with the way they are going yet.

It's easy enough to recreate the same thing, the challenge here is to do the next.

Update 2 (July 12): Rocketboom is back with its "interim" anchor, Joanna Colan.  First impression, Joanna is missing the quirkiness and charisma that Amanda had.  Eh, it's her first vlog...  I'll give her another chance.
