Everybody knows that when restaurants don't list prices on their menus it means the food is expensive.
Well, this guy went to the Waverly Inn in New York and probably thought he was playing it safe by ordering the night's special, mac and cheese. He gets served mac and cheese and the waiter grates what the guy assumes is cheese on top of the entree.
It turns out the grated stuff wasn't cheese -- it was fresh truffle. His mac and cheese ended up being $55.
