I decided to check out eBay the other day to see what I was missing. Having never visited the site before, I was completely clueless on what things I could possibly find. Come to find out, eBay has everything you could possibly think of: collectibles, clothes, taxidermy animals, food resembling people or things... You name it, eBay has it!
My goal while visiting eBay was to find weird things people were putting up for sale. Although I'm sure there are more out there, I believe I did a decent job in coming up with some weird things. The more experienced eBay shopper could probably put me to shame. Sorry, I'm only a beginner.
Food
Jesus toast: Seller claims this piece of toast came out of the toaster with the face of Jesus on it. (1 bid at $5.00)
Monkey popcorn head: A kernel that looks like a monkey's head. (2 bids, bid stands at $1.25)
Duck peanut: A peanut that looks like a duck. (1 bid at $0.99)
Phallic cherry: A cherry that looks like... ummm... you'll see. (0 bids, bid starts at $2.99)
Animals
Taxidermy frogs "doggy" exercising: Yes, these are real frogs positioned in a vulnerable position. (0 bids, bid starts at $18.99)
Taxidermy love frogs: Another set of frogs in another position... just in case you wanted to purchase a set that complements your frogs "doggy" exercising. (0 bids, bid starts at $14.99)
Freak devil fish: Just in case you were getting sick of the frogs... (6 bids, bid stands at $90.13)
Clothing
Curious George/Pillsbury Dough Boy Used Underwear: Don't worry... It's not real underwear. I'm sitting on the edge of my seat with this item; The seller adds a new story line each day. (0 bids, bid starts at $1.00)
Very worn, used, thrashed white Nikes: This isn't "weird" just gross! Who would want to buy these? Okay, one guy would. (1 bid at $5.00)
Moose poop earrings: Yes, you read that right. 2 sets are available so you can by one for you and a friend. ($8.99)
Miscellaneous
Pope John Paul II jar of air: Here is a jar filled with air that Pope John Paul II breathed during World Youth Day in 2002. (0 bids, bid starts at $5.99)
I don't know what's more unbelievable: the fact that people try selling these things or the fact that people actually buy them! (No offense to those who are putting in their bids right now.)
If you found some weird eBay items, share them in the comments!
