Zachary is over 5 months now and I cannot believe how fast he is growing and changing. He's rolling over all the time now and actually enjoying being on his tummy. He's grabbing everything within his reach, holding up his head on his own, drooling so much he could fill a kiddie pool, and chewing anything that will go in his mouth.

We began feeding Zach solids at 4 months and I'm happy to say that he is enjoying all the foods we've fed him so far. Here are the foods that he is eating: green beans, peas, squash, prunes, pears, applesauce, bananas, carrots, and sweet potatoes. We had originally started with rice cereal, which he loved at the time, but since introducing new foods... rice cereal isn't as fun as it used to be.

Zachary is a very social and vocal baby. Jason is teaching Zach how to say "daddy", and I'm teaching him "daddy poopy" (I think that will come in handy when Zach has a dirty diaper.). To be honest, I wouldn't mind Zach's first word to be "mama", but I think it's going to be "hi".

We are very fortunate to have such a good baby. Did I mention that he's the cutest baby ever? : )
