First we had all the FUD from ZDNet about OS X security - twisting the rm-my-mac contest to say that ANY mac could be hacked into within 30 minutes. They neglected to mention that anyone was given local access to the machine that wanted it. They also slightly underestimated the timespan - while the exact time doesn't seem to be known, it was much more than 30 minutes. Given similar conditions, it would be all of 30 seconds for Windows until someone downloads VNC or something nastier like sub7 onto it, and it's owned.

New Apple Products

I always love seeing the new Apple products. The suspense as your now obsolete machine boots and loads Safari to surf to Apple.com to see what's new.

This time we have the MacBookPro..

The PowerBook line is on it's way out! Viva la revolution!

With a frontside bus that runs at 667MHZ, and the PCI-express architecture, it's the best PowerBook ever, that leaps above and beyond what came before it.

When I got my brand new 12", it just seemed as if it would never get old... oh well. I couldn't imagine it would someday be like the Lombard G3 powerbook I previously had.

End the Microsoft monopoly before it ruins the computing industry

Windows has a market share of 93.7%, more than the 40% required by the OFT to investigate. We all know the illegal practices of MS and yet the OFT has done nothing. The OFT says "Excessive prices or reduction in quality of service are typical results of exploitation of a monopoly". The Office of Fair Trade are not doing their job. Start signing!

Here it is: The long awaited sequel to MS History 2005. This video highlights the stupidity of Microsoft, and all the people involved in it. It includes many clips that you have seen, and probably some you haven't. If you hate Microsoft, even a little bit, you will love this video.
