Lawyer, Shailendra Dwivedi, has filed a criminal case against Bollywood actors Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan for their kissing scene in the movie Dhoom 2.

In a country where public intimacy is often frowned upon, the local court has agreed to hear Dwivedi's petition to punish the actors.

Are young female celebrities, such as Nicole Richie, starving themselves to retain child-like features that are said to be more attractive to adults?

There are well established theories on our species preference for "juvenile features" (large eyes, bulging craniums, retreating chins), and that over generations our shape has evolved [neoteny] to mimic this appearance.

Extreme dieting creates an even more exaggerated juvenile look (giant forehead, enlarged eyes, receding lower features.) In a society where looks mean so much, young stars maybe using anorexia as an evolutionary shortcut to the ultimate image of cuteness.

Oprah Winfrey gives over $300,000 in debit cards to audience

Oprah Winfrey has done it again -- She gave each of her audience members in last Monday's show a $1000 debit card, which is to be donated to a charitable cause.

"I can honestly say that every gift I've ever given has brought at least as much happiness to me as it has to the person I've given it to," the 52-year-old talk-show host said. "That's the feeling I want to pass on to you."

People can give the entire sum to one person -- relatives aren't eligible -- or they can split it among charitable causes. Audience members also received a DVD recorder to tape their stories for a future show.

I wonder if the audience had to sign a contract saying that they wouldn't keep the money to themselves. Heck, I would consider myself a charitable cause -- Mama needs a new pair of shoes.

Seriously though, I think this was a great giveaway; The money can go to people who need it most and to a variety of charities.

Borat gets official invite to visit Kazakhstan

Borat creator and comedian, Sacha Baron Cohen, has received an invitation to visit Kazakhstan from deputy foreign minister Rakhat Aliyev.

Having been offended by the stereotypes Cohen portrays in his film Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, Mr. Aliyev wants 'Borat' to "discover a lot of things" about the true Kazakhstan.
