By My Side is a short film created by Sam Ekren of Golden Valley, Minnesota. The film is about a boy who is inspired by a creative and energetic girl. It was a 2009 Winner of the Shortie Awards, Animation Category, ages 15-18.
On June 12, 1970, former Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Dock Ellis pitched a no-hitter while on LSD. A year before he died at the age of 63 in 2008, he recorded an interview in which he gave a detailed play-by-play of what happened on that day he had the no-hitter against the San Diego Padres. When James Blagden and No Mas came across the interview, they created an animated short film using the original audio.

"On S'embrasse?" (Can We Kiss) is a short film by French director Pierre-Olivier Mornas which has won numerous awards at various film festivals. It's a beautiful short about the loss of love and the end of something that once was. [via]
