Heelarious, high heels for your infant

heelarious heelsThese baby heels are causing a stir among parent blogs.  The owners of Heelarious have created high heels intended for 0 to 6 month old infants.  Just pure fun or a little disturbing?  You decide.

Man Babies

ManBabies.com - Dad?
ManBabies.com is a daily site where the heads of the dad and baby are switched within each photo.  Some of the photos are a little creepy, but overall, it's a funny site.  Link [via delicious]

My Pee Pee Bottle

my pee pee bottle My Pee Pee Bottle is an on-the-go solution for when your little ones have to go potty and there is no restroom available or the toilets are just plain nasty.  I get the concept, but do the bottles have to look like those Nalgene water bottles everybody is carrying around?  What a horrible mistake that would be!

(Thanks, Adam!)

Crying Sumo Contest

Every year in Japan, sumo wrestlers are paired off with infants in a ring.  The amateur wrestlers hold up the infants into the air and the infant who cries first is the winner.  If the infants cry at the same time then the loudest infant wins.

The purpose of the contest is to pray for children's healthy growth.

How to care for a baby

coffee baby I've been caring for my kids all wrong!  I wish I would've seen these illustrations a long time ago.  Link to image gallery [via The Presurfer]

The original images come from the book Safe Baby Handling Tips authored by David and Kelly Sopp.  You can find their one-of-a-kind book here.

Baby Falling Asleep

baby falling asleepWatch as this adorable baby falls asleep on the couch.  Is he going left?  Is he going right?  Is he going to fall flat on his face?  You'll have to watch to find out.

Babies establish internet identity

All of this baby naming hoop-de-doo is driving me insane!  If I base my baby's name on its domain name availability please slap some sense into me.  Supposedly, it's a big trend among new parents to establish their kids' internet identities before they can even walk, talk and poop in the potty.  Link to Wired article.

Google Baby

Oliver Google KaiJason and I are expecting our second baby boy and have not yet come up with a name for the little guy.  I know there are a few names that we DO NOT like --  "Metallica", "4real", "Urhines Kendall Icy Eight Special K", and "Google".

Elias and Carol Kai named their baby boy "Oliver Google Kai".  It's not a surprise that the father is a Search Engine Marketing Specialist.

WHAT!, Funny ProLife Billboards

WHAT! billboard
We've all seen the Prolife Across America "WHAT!" billboards plastered along the highways.  I know they are touching on a sensitive topic, but I can't help but crack up whenever I see one of their billboards.

On our way to Jason's work every morning we used to pass a "WHAT!" billboard and would literally scream "WHAT!  EMBRYOS ARE BABIES!" at each other.  Our bout of screaming would always be followed up with the same conversation: "Why do they use an exclamation point?  Shouldn't they be using a question mark?  It's like they are screaming at us."

At a recent camping trip with the Mayor and First Lady of Mount Holly, we found out that we are not the only ones who think these billboards are hilarious.  They came up with a ton of side-splitting spoofs one night by the campfire, but I can only remember one...

"WHAT!  My finger prints were on the murder weapon only 3 weeks from conception!"

Over at meshly, Jason came up with another good one...

"WHAT!  I was defecating in your womb at 3 months!"

Make up your own spoofs and share them in the comments.  If you have mad photoshopping skills, I'd love to see some doctored up billboards.  Here is Prolife Across America's billboard archive (Thanks for the link, Tammy!)
