I've been putting together a slideshow for my Lola's 100th birthday coming up in October.  It's been a lot of work scanning photo after photo, but well worth it especially when you come across photos like the one above. 

I'm not sure what year this photo was taken, but it was well before my time.  Pictured are my cousins, aunts, Lola and Lolo enjoying cold bottles of Coke during a hot day in the Philippines.  This photo is screaming retro Coke advertisement.

ManBabies.com is a daily site where the heads of the dad and baby are switched within each photo.  Some of the photos are a little creepy, but overall, it's a funny site.  Link [via delicious]

Well, its about time I started one of these and what better time than just after you've made the decade-long-desired step of resigning from your family. To make myself feel better, I just re-read the parts of that hoary old chestnut, the Communist Manifesto, that refer to why its OK to not feel bad about having such bad thoughts about that most hallowed of institutions, the family. Here is the text verbatim: (god I love the first line! Marx had *such* a way with words ...)
