Paul Nicklen is a contributing photographer for National Geographic magazine. He tells us about his fascinating encounter with one of the most vicious predators in the world--the leopard seal. For four days, the leopard seal cared for Nicklen.
On June 12, 1970, former Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Dock Ellis pitched a no-hitter while on LSD. A year before he died at the age of 63 in 2008, he recorded an interview in which he gave a detailed play-by-play of what happened on that day he had the no-hitter against the San Diego Padres. When James Blagden and No Mas came across the interview, they created an animated short film using the original audio.
