Sunset over Hobart City and Tasman Bridge, 03-Nov-2005

Continuing my playing around with digital photography, I took this shot from my verandah, overlooking the River Derwent at about 10PM. I took this picture using extended shutter - I left the shutter open for 15 seconds, which gave a very nice effect on the lights. Take a look:

This photo was taken using a 15-second shutter opening - it's of the Tasman Bridge in Hobart, taken at about 10PM on the 15th of September 2005.

Today, I took a road trip with my dad up to Launceston, in the state's north. On the way up, we took a detour via the Great Lakes of the Central Highlands.

It had been snowing overnight, and since Dad left his Digital Camera in the car from a previous trip, I had the opportunity to play around with it. Here's a nice shot of snow beside the road on the way to Poatina:

There's been a lot of rain in the Midlands recently, and they're looking greener than ever. This was taken at about 5:00PM heading South, Towards Hobart.

Look at the Hills!

We recieved quite a few rainfalls over the past weeks, and it's made the countryside a lovely shade of green. Pretty this photo doesn't quite show it off :( -- 15 September 2005.
