Computer

Historians have found the earliest digital computer music recording, which was made in 1951 by the BBC for a musical performance in a children's radio show.

The recording captures one of the earliest computers to use short term random access memory playing God Save the King, Baa Baa Black Sheep and a short piece of Glenn Miller's In The Mood.

The Ferranti Mark 1 computer was built by UK electrical engineering firm Ferranti in collaboration with Manchester University, UK. It was the world's first commercial computer, and nine were sold between 1951 and 1957.

Quick PC Case Facelift

hercules_case.jpgWell, about 7 Years ago I purchased a $70 Antec Computer case with large 250w Power Supply. This has been the case for my main computer since then.

As you can see it is very sturdy (the drawer that is open is the CD Holder), well worth the extra money back then over the $30 dollar ones, except if you want a lan party computer, this with everything installed is about 30 pounds. The case has been through 7 or 8 motherboards, a power supply replacement, 4 video cards, 2 vid capture cards, 3 sound cards(not including ones onboard the motherboards), 4 cd-r/dvd-r drives, about 6 different hard drives, a zip drive, and a floppy.

Its current configuration is:

Humor for the People

Well I asked my Wife if she wanted a set of this jewelery. She said no she didn't. I don't understand why I think it makes a very fashionable statement.
