Darth Vader tags Wikipedia

I'm loving this video of Darth Vader tagging the Wikipedia entry for the force.

I'm really happy to see that the dark side is still getting some solid representation in this whole internet thing. I posted a while back about his "Qee Vader" video, where he designed a pop-vinyl toy in his own image. Hopefully, this new video won't be the last.

Here's a link to the final product:

Darth deserves some credit. Make sure to go and vote it up.

Star Wars Last Supper

star wars last supperFrom the site:

Hey all. I just finished this project up for Giant Magazine. It was quite a challenge for me, especially trying to get the likenesses to semi-work.
They wanted selected Star Wars characters in the Last Supper. I started out staying really close to the poses in the actual last supper painting
then ended up straying away from them a bit to make the wide range of characters fit.

The gap between Luke and Leia is the gutter of the magazine and it will be cropped off right at the end of yoda.

Star Wars Original Versions on DVD!

All of you Star Wars fans who feel ripped off by the way that LucasFilm only releases the special edition Star Wars now days, rejoice!
From Ctrl+Alt+Del

Lucasfilm will be releasing the original versions of the first Star Wars trilogy on DVD for a limited time later this year, despite George Lucas' adamant statements a couple of years back that the special editions would be the only versions available. The DVD's will be go on sale September 12th, at the same time the new Lego Star Wars launches. Lucasfilm will then stop distributing the original version on December 31st, similar to how Disney releases their movies on DVD for a limited time only.

The original versions will feature state of the art remastering techniques as of 1993, the last time the original trilogy was remastered. Meaning it will still be pretty fuzzy.

If anyone can find some more info on this, 'twould be much appreciated... But otherwise, this is extremely cool, and many thanks to LucasFilm for doing it!

LEGO Fanatics

Ok, so I'm not sure if you guys like LEGOs, but I know I used to be obsessed with them, and I still like it when people make imaginative things out of them. This site even makes me enjoy the standard out of the box LEGO sets. A couple spent approximately 10 hours putting together the LEGO Star Destroyer kit, and they documented the entire thing via webcam. The webcam was set up to take a picture every so often, and a video was compiled of the stills to create a stop-motion movie that's about 4 minutes long. Yep, you can watch them put it together.
