If my oldest son wasn't so into Transformers right now I would totally decorate his room with these Nintendo Wall Decals!  You can choose from Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, and New Super Mario Bros.  Link (Thanks, starnami!)

The Beatles: Rock Band releasing this year

Set to release in stores on September 9, 2009, The Beatles: Rock Band will definitely be a best-seller and the most expensive game ($59.99) for the Wii console.

The game is a collaboration between MTV, Harmonix—developers of the Rock Band series—and The Beatles’ Apple Corps. Ltd. (which does not make iPods). The game’s developers are striving to make it historically accurate and input from Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and Yoko Ono will only help them in this endeavor.

While Wii games are generally priced at $49.99, MTV has decided that The Beatles: Rock Band for Wii will have the same pricepoint as its later-generation counterparts on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360—$59.99. A $250 Limited Edition Premium bundle featuring the microphone, drums and guitar will also be available.

NES controller/coffee table that actually works!

giant NES controller coffee table Mother's Day is this Sunday and what I would really like is a working giant NES controller coffee table.  As if a working giant NES controller isn't cool enough, the table opens up to provide ample storage for all of your stuff.

The NES coffee table was built by Kyle Downes of the "Ultra Awesome" blog.

Awesome Cardboard Art

1-up

I don't remember what I was looking for or who's page I found this blog on, but I thought it was awesome. I can't wait to find a really nice thick piece of cardboard and try this technique out myself. I always wanted little question marked boxes above my head (even if I can't actually headbutt them and get something that makes me spew fireballs...) LINK.
