If I were to go on vacation I would choose a place that is hot, sunny, and far from the wintry cold weather of Minneapolis. If I wanted to spend an evening in 14 degree weather, I would sleep for free in the newly fallen snow in our yard rather than spending money to stay in the Ice Hotel.
I have to admit that I find it amazing that the hotel is made entirely of ice, but still, not my idea of a weekend getaway.
If you're looking for a romantic get-away and willing to spend some money, you may want to travel to Cappadocia, Turkey.
