Bride marries Groom's brother

An Indian woman ended up marrying her Groom's brother when the Groom came to the ceremony stinking drunk.  The family chased the Groom away and then asked the Groom's brother to marry their daughter.  He accepted and now his drunken brother is worried he will never find another bride again.

Welsh Farmers Place Singles Ads on Milk Containers

single Welsh farmer milk containerDon't be fooled with the mug shots found on the Calon Wen milk containers.  No, they aren't missing persons -- They are singles ads for five Welsh farmers.

Mr Jones said the countryside could be "a hard place to find a date".

The 30-year-old said he came up with the idea for the rural matchmaking venture after realising a large number of Welsh farmers were single.

"We want to encourage farmers to consider online dating as a fun way of meeting people."

The project is jointly run with online dating agency Pishyn (Welsh slang for gorgeous) where people who log on can find out more details about the farmers involved.

Women: Stay single, stay thin

Studies suggest that women who live with their boyfriends or husbands tend to gain weight due to an increase in fat and sugar in their diets.  On the flipside, men's diets became more healthy.

Men found themselves eating lighter, healthier meals and more fruit and vegetables, while women moved towards the creamier, heavier dishes like curries and rich pasta meals favoured by their partners.
Why the change?

The team said diets change because each partner tries to please the other.
Living with the opposite sex is an extreme lifestyle change, especially when routines, diets, etc. differ between the couple.  Couples need to find a compromise:
