Sierra Bravo F1 Overnight Website Challenge This weekend was the second annual Sierra Bravo F1 Overnight Website Challenge where approximately 130 web developers and designers donated 24 hours of their time to create free websites for 13 deserving non-profits.

Our own BlogCadre pal, Jason Striegel, and his team of 8 other talented web pros, team Praxis, pulled off the win and developed a kick-butt website for their non-profit, District 202.

After 24 hours of hard work, no sleep and too much caffeine, the 2009 Website Challenge teams and non-profits can now sleep soundly.

Helping out your community

Playground Over the weekend, over 200 people helped build a playground for the Harold Colbert Jones Memorial Community Center. It took over 12 hours to build the playground. We moved over 176,000 lbs of mulch, mixed about 7 tons of Cement and built a swing set, climbing wall, jungle gym and a big fort with multiple slides.
