Spot the 5 Differences

Spot the 5 Differences flash game
Spot the 5 Differences is a free online flash game where the objective is to spot the 5 differences between the side-by-side scenes.  You cannot move on to the next set of scenes until you spot all 5 differences.  The last difference is always the most difficult to find.  [via MeFi]

Human Brain CloudHuman Brain Cloud is an online, mult-player word association game that will make your brain churn.

The idea is that given a word, a player types in the first thing that comes to mind and the results are combined into a giant network.

For instance given the word "volcano", a common word people might submit would be "lava", and this would result in a very strong connection between "volcano" and "lava". On the other hand, given the word "volcano", fewer people might associate it with something like "birthday party", resulting in a very weak connection or no connection at all. Over time and with many players, I hope the cloud will gradually grow to represent words and phrases people tend to associate with other words and phrases, assuming it doesn’t get inundated with spam. The cloud started with just one word, "volcano". All other words were submitted by visitors to this site.

M&M's Dark Chocolate Online 50 Dark Movies Game

kids dancingM&M's has put together an online game in order to promote their Dark Chocolate.  The object of the game is to figure out what 'dark' movies are hidden within the large image.  I see it as more of a series of riddles rather than a game.

So far, I've figured out 25 of the 50 movies.  I'm starting to struggle now because I don't watch many dark movies.

How many can you get?  Play the game.  I dare you.

If you want to keep playing, I suggest you don't view the digg comments.

Update 2: An anonymous BlogCadre visitor has provided a visual solution map below in the comments section.  Check it out if you're stuck and fed up with trying to solve the riddles.

Here is a game where Zidane can re-enact the red card incident over and over and over again.

Update 1: The link to the game is broken.  My apologies.  Can anybody provide a working link to the game? back online.  Enjoy headbutting!

'Dying for Darfur' Online Game

Darfur gamemtvU has launched a free online video game called Dying for Darfur in order to raise awareness for the situation in Darfur.

From the site:

In partnership with the Reebok Human Rights Foundation and the International Crisis Group, mtvU launched the Darfur Digital Activity Contest, an unprecedented competition bringing together student technology and activism to help stop the genocide in Darfur.  Susana Ruiz, Ashley York, Mike Stein, Noah Keating and Kellee Santiago of the University of Southern California conceived the game and worked closely with humanitarian aide workers with extensive on the ground experience in Darfur to develop it.

Darfur is Dying is a narrative-based simulation where the user, from the perspective of a displaced Darfurian, negotiates forces that threaten the survial of his or her refugee camp.  It offers a faint glimpse of what it's like for the more than 2.5 million who have been internally displaced by the crisis in Sudan.
