Riot Games does not provide a straightforward way to check your total playtime. However, there’s a way to figure that out real quick via the LoL Game Port Query located in the game’s user interface.
To find your total playtime during a particular season, you’ll have to locate the ‘Stats tab' via your gaming account. You should keep in mind that this option does not include data before 2018.
Follow the steps below to know how much time you’ve wasted playing League of Legends using the LoL Game Port Query:
Step 1: Open the League of Legends game, log in to your account, and then proceed to open your profile.
Step 2: Go to the ‘STATS’ tab in the profile menu.
There you should be able to see the time you’ve spent playing LOL’s ranked games during a particular season. Note that this option only captures time spent in a particular season only. So you won’t be able to tell the total amount of time you’ve spent playing LoL since you created your account via the game's STATS interface.

By using the Wasted on LOL website, you can also find statistics of other Riot games. That is because the platform directly interacts with the Riot Games servers. Wasted on LOL provides an approximate amount of time you've played LOL. The stats indicated are an estimation of the time of activity since the time the particular LoL account was first created.
However, Wasted on LoL has put access restrictions for gamers from China and Southeast Asia. If you’re from any of these regions, you cannot use this tool to estimate the total amount of time spent on LoL.
That said, here are the steps to follow to find out how much time you have spent on League of Legends using the “Wasted on LoL” tool:
Step 1: Start by visiting the Wasted on the LOL website.
Step 2: Next, provide your “Summoner Name” then choose your region.
Step 3: Click on ‘How Much Time I Wasted on LOL?’ A window will appear detailing the amount of time, in hours and days, you’ve spent playing the game.
Note that this platform also compares your statistics against other gamers in your region and all the League of Legends players in general and provides your rank.
And that’s not all. The platform also uses the time spent on LoL to approximate the number of movies you could have watched, books read, or the distance you could have covered walking or jogging during the same period you spent gaming.
3. Game Record Query
Since WOL does not provide statistics on all regions, you can use other alternatives to know how much time you've wasted on LoL. One such alternative that’s not region-specific is Game Record Query. Besides showing the approximate amount of time spent on LoL, the platform also allows you to search and compare the statistics of multiple players against your own.
To find out how much time you’ve wasted on Lol using Game Record Query, proceed as follows:
Step 1: Visit the OP.GG website.
Step 2: Select your region and provide the name of your League of Legends profile. Your recent searches are displayed in the ‘Recent Search' tab or the ‘Favourites' tab for summoners you marked as favorites.
Step 3: After confirming your profile's avatar, click on ‘How many hours did you play LOL?'
