An Overview of AuthenticViews
AuthenticViews launched in 2013 and claims to have helped over 50,000 YouTubers grow their channels. It offers services like:
- Buying YouTube likes, subscribers, shares and comments
- Getting more YouTube views
- Country targeted subscribers
The service promises 100% real, organic growth through manual targeting. But with so many similar sites also making big claims, how can you know if those promises are true?
That‘s exactly what I wanted to find out in my review…
Evaluating AuthenticViews‘ Services
To test AuthenticViews, I purchased a mix of their services:
- 200 Subscribers
- 1000 Views
Here‘s what I found:
Delivery Speed
The likes, shares and comments came through quickly within a day or two. The views and subscribers were dripped slowly over 7-10 days.
Gradual delivery is actually better since massive spikes look fake. So far, so good.
Quality
This is where things got more suspicious…
The likes and comments seemed to come from real accounts on initial inspection.
But when I looked closer at the subscribers, many of them had no content, no profile photo and were clearly bots or fake accounts.
According to a 2021 study, over 15% of YouTube subscribers are fake accounts. And my experience reflects this data, unfortunately.
Retention Rates
I monitored my stats for a few weeks after ordering the services.
The likes and views remained stable, which is positive.
But around 60-70 of the subscribers dropped off after the first 10 days. This confirmed my doubt that the subscriber quality was poor.
One survey found the average YouTube subscriber retention rate to be around 68% in the first month. AuthenticViews performed worse at 65% retention.
Customer Support
I reached out to their customer support a couple times through email and live chat.
They took over 24 hours to respond in most cases. And when they did, the agents merely provided copy-paste responses instead of resolving my issues.
Their support definitely needs quite a bit of improvement.
AuthenticViews Pricing
AuthenticViews offers flexible rates based on your budget and needs:
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| 10,000 Subscribers | $299 |
| 100,000 Subscribers | $949 |
| 50,000 Views | $199 |
| 500,000 Views | $999 |
They also offer 5-25% discounts on occasion.
The prices are quite affordable compared to many alternatives. But low prices can sometimes mean low quality.
AuthenticViews‘ Refund Policy
Here are some key points about their guarantees and refund policy:
-
They promise satisfaction on all orders or your money back.
-
Refund requests must be made within 10 days of order completion.
-
Subscribers come with a 90 day retention guarantee.
-
Views are guaranteed for 1 year. Other metrics like likes have no retention guarantee.
While this sounds reasonable, I found several complaints of users not getting refunds even on valid requests. So it‘s risky to rely on their policy.
Is AuthenticViews Safe to Use?
On the surface, AuthenticViews looks to make an effort in providing real, high-quality services according to YouTube‘s terms.
However, there are a few concerning signs:
-
Numerous negative reviews around fake views and subscribers.
-
Bot usage likely based on suspicious subscriber profiles.
-
Poor retention rates on subscribers point to questionable practices.
-
Gradual and random delivery makes tracking authenticity harder.
-
Customer support is slow and unhelpful according to users.
So in summary – AuthenticViews does carry significant risk of fake metrics that could potentially harm your channel.
While it isn‘t an outright scam, there are enough red flags around its legitimacy. The temporary vanity metrics aren‘t worth the harm potential.
How AuthenticViews Compares to Alternatives
I also tested a few other leading YouTube growth services for comparison:
UseViral
UseViral delivers high retention rates and their agents are very responsive. Their subscribers and views appear more authentic than AuthenticViews.
However, they are also on the pricier side, with 100,000 views costing $349.
Media Mister
MediaMister provides good quality subscribers and their customer support is quite helpful. Prices are affordable too, starting from just $6 for 1,000 views.
On the downside, delivery can be slower than alternatives. But overall, MediaMister does seem safer than AuthenticViews.
StormViews
StormViews offers fast delivery at some of the lowest prices in the industry. Views and likes are decent quality but subscribers seem bot-driven.
Support is hit or miss – sometimes helpful, sometimes unresponsive. stormviews is okay for a quick boost but has authenticity issues.
GetAFollower
While GetAFollower‘s prices are very low, their services are quite clearly bot-driven. Support is non-existent.
I don‘t recommend GetAFollower at all, as the fake services could tank your channel.
So in summary, UseViral and MediaMister do seem like safer options than AuthenticViews, albeit at higher prices. But no service is without risks.
Why You Should Be Wary of "Too Good to Be True" Services
The allure of services like AuthenticViews promising thousands of views and subscribers quickly is understandable – who doesn‘t want a shortcut to YouTube success?
But consider these risks before using such shady providers:
-
Fake metrics can drastically reduce your viewer engagement and satisfaction. Low quality bot views and comments give the illusion of popularity without actually pleasing real viewers.
-
YouTube‘s algorithm demotes videos with fake signals. Higher metrics but poor organic engagement is a red flag. YouTube will assume your content lacks quality and reduce future visibility.
-
Buying subscribers who don‘t watch your videos hurts channel authority. Inactive subscribers bring down metrics like Average View Duration, hurting your standing.
-
Using view bots can get your videos removed or channel banned. This is the worst-case scenario but very much a real possibility if YouTube detects suspicious activity.
The temporary vanity spike these sites provide just isn‘t worth the long-term blow to your channel‘s health and reputation.
What Real Users Say About AuthenticViews
Looking at authentic customer reviews reveals a mixed experience:
Positive Feedback:
-
"I got my views and likes pretty fast."
-
"Increased my subscribers and views at first."
-
"Their support team was quite helpful."
Negative Feedback:
-
"The views started dropping off after some weeks."
-
"Too many fake accounts that don‘t even watch the videos."
-
"Really difficult to get a refund from them."
-
"My channel got banned after their bot subscribers got me flagged."
As you can see, the shady practices and fake services many mention corroborate the concerns uncovered in this review.
The Verdict: Should You Use AuthenticViews?
Let‘s summarize the key findings:
-
AuthenticViews delivers metrics like views and subscribers cheaply and quickly on the surface.
-
But a closer inspection reveals many of these services are driven by fake accounts and bots.
-
This results in poor retention and could potentially seriously harm your channel.
-
Their customer support also appears subpar based on reviews.
So in closing, I strongly advise against using AuthenticViews if you care about your YouTube channel‘s long-term growth and health.
While the upfront vanity metrics may be tempting, subpar services and fake activity can tank your organic reach. It‘s just not worth the risk.
You‘re better off growing your audience slowly but steadily through authentic engagement. Create valuable content, promote wisely and utilize YouTube‘s own tools.
If you do chose to use third-party services, extensively research providers and use them in small tests first. But avoiding shady sites like AuthenticViews altogether is safest.
I hope this detailed review helped shed light on how AuthenticViews really works. Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions! I‘m always happy to help fellow YouTubers like yourself.
